The most violent man in rock is dead. GG Allin, whose extreme brand of punk rock included defecating on stage and frequent fist fights with the audience, was found dead... Allin, who lived in the East Village and whose full name was Kevin Michael Allin, was 36.
"I Think it's safe to say he OD'ed" said the rock singer's brother, Merle Allin, who played bass guitar in his band. "Though with GG you never know".
GG Allin died as he lived... Two years ago, in Orlando, Florida, Allin was arrested after he defecated on stage and then threw his faeces at the audience.
"He believed that he was the rock and roll messiah, and that he was trying to bring danger back into rock and roll", said Merle. "He was by far the most outrageous performer who ever hit a stage".
According to filmmaker Todd Phillips (author of the documentary : "Hated : GG Allin and the Murder Junkies), Allin had been arrested 52 times for his various onstage activities. He had also occasionally threatened to kill himself on stage.
Allin raised in Lancaster, NH, was also prolific as a rocker. He recorded 18 albums with different bands, among them the Jabbers and the AIDS Brigade...

Allin have been buried in New Hampshire (he wanted to be laid to rest in his favourite outfit : a dog collar, a leather jock-strap and boots). Rebel, tough, violent, he's been and will stay the ultimate delinquent Punk Rocker. This savage guy from Lancaster (New Heaven), when alive and thrown in jail, used to pretend : "I'm the rock'n'roll's Master and Number One Terrorist !".
The title for this anthology was immediately found : "Rock'n'roll Terrorist". A collection of 40 songs, 40 filthy hymns of pure anger, pure energy, pure venom... A rare performance of a man who brought rock'n'roll to the extremes.
