En douze CDs et plus de dix heures de musique,  partez en voyage à l’intérieur du blues à travers les enregistrements torrides des pionniers du Chicago Blues que sont Muddy Waters et Howlin’Wolf, de  l’incroyable rencontre de deux monstres du blues,le légendaire Jimmy Reed avec le jeune Johnny Winter, des deux disciples d’Elmore James et maîtres de la slide guitar, Hound  Dog Taylor et J. Hutto, du légendaire pianiste de New Orleans, Professor Longhair, de l’extraordinaire showman qu’est Eddie Clearwater,  de Luther Johnson, jeune bluesman prématurément disparu au feeling à fleur de peau, qui joua longtemps avec Muddy Waters, et  de ce  concert dans un petit club de Chicago de Left Hand Frank, compagnon de route de Little Walter et Jimmy Rogers, qui comme Hendrix jouait en gaucher avec une guitare de droitier.
