JIM DICKINSON

Born in Little Rock, Arkansas, the 11-15-1941, JIM DICKINSON is an international-known musician and record producer, perhaps best known for recording with the Rolling Stones, Aretha Franklin and collaborating with West Coast guitarist, Ry Cooder. DICKINSON's experience in the music industry began in the '50s as an East Memphis teenager. His high school band, The Regents, was famous on the "frat party" circuit from the Theatrical Arts Club to the Collierville VFW. JIM signed his first recording contract on Beale Street with Rubin Cherry's Home of the Blues label in 1961. Since then DICKINSON has worked as a studio musician, songwriter, arranger, recording engineer, producer, and most recently, film scorist.

CHUCK PROPHET

CHUCK PROPHET was born in the mid '60's in Whittier, California, a burg notable for producing one American president, even if it was Richard M. Nixon.
"Growing up in Southern California in the '70's, recalls PROPHET, there was music everywhere. And everybody played guitar ! Shake a tree and five guitar players would fall out !".
Ronald Reagan wound up in the White House the same year PROPHET wound up in San Francisco, going to college and "majoring in financial aid". He played in a rapid-fire succession of punk inspired bands before meeting up with, and ultimately joining L.A's preeminent paisley underground combo, GREEN ON RED. "I was drafted !" he claims, "And we made 8 albums".
Then PROPHET worked with San Francisco locals such as Finch, Mark Eitzel, Barbara Manning and Bone Cootes. He recorded his first solo album : Brother Aldo (1990). The rock critics just loved it. In 1992, PROPHET set to work on his next solo album : Balinese Dancer. In 1995, he recorded the now famous "Feast Of Hearts" CD. A real Star is born !
